Day 1 – Arrival in Tanzania (Arusha)
Arrival:
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha.
Experience:
Relax and unwind after your journey and prepare for your safari adventure
Overnight: Tulia Boutique & Spa Lodge / Summit Lodge (Arusha)
Day 2 – Tarangire National Park
Morning:
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park.
Activities:
Enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. You may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and diverse birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park.
Experience:
In the late afternoon, continue to Karatu for dinner and relaxation.
Overnight: Marera Valley Lodge (Karatu)
Day 3 – Journey to Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)
Morning:
After breakfast, depart for the Ndutu region, located within the southern ecosystem of Serengeti National Park.
Highlights:
Travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands with a stop at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater.
Activities:
Continue to Ndutu for a picnic lunch followed by an afternoon game drive across the plains.
Overnight: Safari Haven Migration Camp (Ndutu)
Day 4 – Full Day Ndutu Safari (Great Migration)
Morning:
Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Ndutu plains.
Activities:
Spend the day exploring this wildlife-rich region. During the calving season (December–March), witness thousands of wildebeest giving birth, attracting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.
Experience:
Enjoy flexible game drives with the option of picnic lunch or a relaxed break at camp.
Overnight: Safari Haven Migration Camp (Ndutu)
Day 5 – Ndutu to Ngorongoro / Karatu
Morning:
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Ndutu before departing.
Activities:
Drive back toward the Ngorongoro / Karatu area through scenic highlands.
Experience:
Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a relaxing evening at your lodge.
Overnight: Marera Valley Lodge (Karatu)
Day 6 – Departure
Morning:
After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
Experience:
Optional activities in Arusha can be arranged depending on your departure time.
